This video highlights the steps of an Italian case study used to identify new varieties.

As part of the Horizon 2020 SolACE Project, researchers at CREA (Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, Italy) worked alongside Italian Durum wheat farmers to co-develop new, cross-bred wheat varieties that were suited to localised climatic conditions using a evolutionary participatory breeding approach.
